THE PROPOSED REQUIREMENT IS IN DIRECT SUPPORT OF FEDERAL CONTINUITY OF OPERATIONS (COOP) REQUIREMENTS THAT REQUIRES EVERY FEDERAL AGENCY TO PLAN FOR CONTINUOUS PERFORMANCE OF ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND OPERATIONS IN THE EVENT OF AN EMERGENCY. IN ACCORDANCE WITH THESE REQUIREMENTS, OIT REGION 4 HAS TWO ESTABLISHED DATA CENTERS: A VA OWNED DATA CENTER IN BROOKLYN, NEW YORK AND THE OTHER COMPRISED OF THE AFOREMENTIONED SPLIT LOCATIONS IN PHILADELPHIA UNDER SUNGARD. THE PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE CONSISTS OF ONE, SIX-MONTH BASE PERIOD AND FOUR, SIX-MONTH OPTION PERIODS TO BE EXERCISED AT THE GOVERNMENT S DISCRETION. — $20.0M
